Since b1702 the template view in Provisioning > Form Template Administration will not display the Guidelines if the number exceeds the threshold of 1000. This limitation has been added to avoid timeout issues on the display of templates with large amounts of guidelines. A warning will be displayed in that screen to aknowledge this.

Changes done directly on this screen (for example change a setting from false to true and then saving) will still consider the guidelines (they are not displayed but still they are considered).

IMPORTANT: Exporting the XML from the above screen and reimporting it back WILL have an impact as all guidelines will be removed. In some cases the system will not accept the import if the guidelines are used for other sections, but if there is no error message and the system saves the upload then all guidelines will be removed.

To avoid any undesired data deletion, we only recommend to export the template from Advanced Settings in the UI and upload the version with changes using Update by Upload.
