2434382 - Accessing /MobileBIService URL results in a HTTP 404 'Page can not be displayed' error

Symptom

  • Opening http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/MobileBIService/MessageHandlerServlet?message=GetVersion results in:
    HTTP 404 'Page can not be displayed' thrown by Tomcat

  • Tomcat stderr.log shows the following errors:

    org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext listenerStart
    SEVERE: Exception sending context initialized event to listener instance of class com.businessobjects.mobilebi.server.listeners.MobiListener
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.bo.mobi.client.util.MobiConfiguration.setBoTraceIniAsString(Ljava/lang/String;)V

    org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext startInternal
    SEVERE: Error listenerStart

    org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext startInternal
    SEVERE: Context [/MobileBIService] startup failed due to previous errors
