2434391 - There are no access points for service error therefore Diagnostic Agents are not connecting to SAP Solution Manager

Symptom

  • Diagnostic Agents are not connecting to SAP Solution Manager and you see the following warning:

  • You have the following error in the SMDSystem.log file:
javax.naming.NamingException: Exception while trying to get InitialContext. [Root exception is com.sap.engine.interfaces.cross.DestinationException: There are no access points for service: P4 registered on the message server]
at com.sap.engine.services.jndi.InitialContextFactoryImpl.getInitialContext(InitialContextFactoryImpl.java:386)
Caused by: com.sap.engine.interfaces.cross.DestinationException: There are no access points for service: P4 registered on the message server
