2434486 - Error "Deployment of SAP Host Agent configurations finished with errors" during HANA Upgrade

Symptom

  • When upgrading your SAP HANA Database you see the following error in the hdblcm.log file referencing the SAP Host Agent:
Updating Resident hdblcm...
  Cleaning up old installation of Resident hdblcm...
  Installing Resident hdblcm...
Updating SAP HANA Instance Integration on Local Host...
  Deploying SAP Host Agent configurations...
Updating SAP HANA Instance Integration on Remote Hosts...
  Updating SAP HANA instance integration on host 
  Updating SAP HANA instance integration on host 
  Updating SAP HANA instance integration on host 
Updating Component List...
SAP HANA components updated
Note: Deployment of SAP Host Agent configurations finished with errors
  • Checking upgrade logs located in the /var/tmp directory you should see the following errors:
INFO:  Deploying SAP Host Agent configurations on host 
INFO:  Calling SAP Host Control web service operation 'DetectManagedObjects' (host: , user: 'p72adm', url: 'http:/tmp/.sapstream1128', arguments: )
WRN :  Deployment of SAP Host Agent configurations failed on host
