2434490 - Dynamic SQL statements may not be stored in the statement cache even though "streamlined dynamic SQL" and "statement cache size" are enabled - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • You execute dynamic SQL statements from your applications.
  • Either the configuration parameter "streamlined dynamic SQL" or "enable functionality group" is set to 1.
  • The configuration parameter "statement cache size" is greater than 0.
  • In addition, the configuration parameter "enable compatibility mode" is set to 1.
  • However, you cannot find any dynamic SQL statements in monCachedStatement table or by dbcc prsqlcache command.
