2434816 - ME 083: "Enter GR-Based IV" Triggered for Free Items

Symptom

Error ME 083 – “Enter GR-based IV” is raised during Purchase Order processing, even when the item is not relevant for Invoice Verification (free item indicator selected or Invoice receipt indicator not selected). This occurs when GR-based IV (EKPO-WEBRE) is set as a required field in field selection customizing.
