Environment

Continuous Performance Management

Resolution

How to access the Configuration Panel:

"Admin Center ->Performance Management > Continuous Performance Management"

How it Works

If Other Topics and Coaching are enabled:

1. Role Based Permissions for Other Topics (entity) are enabled in RBP. The RBP must be enabled as well for Topics to display
2. Coaching will display for manager and employees accordingly

If Other Topics and Coaching are disabled:

1. Other Topics will no longer be visible within RBP

2. Other Topics as a feature will be hidden from the main Activities view within CPM

If Other Topics and Coaching are disabled:

1. Other Topics and Coching are hidden from the Activities view.

2. If Topics and/or Coaching were enabled in an instance and subsequently disabled, all current data and past ‘captured’ meetings will only display Activity data (topics/coaching will be hidden).

3. If they are re-enabled, the data captured in the system will be displayed again in the Activities section.

4. The same logic is applicable to running ad hoc reports. If disabled, the topic and coaching columns will be hidden

Prerequisites & Configuration:
Product Editions: Enterprise and SPRAC
Universal
1. By default, topics and coaching will be enabled in the configuration panel. To disable these features, simply Navigate to: "Admin Center ->Performance Management > Continuous Performance Management", select the option to turn off Topics or Coaching
2. If you are enabling topics, you must still grant the role based permissions accordingly to managers and employees per the Admin Guide
3. If you are enabling coaching, there are no role-based permissions for the coaching entity at this point in time. It is simply a matter of enabling the feature from the configuration panel to ensure coaching is visible to managers and employees
