2435819 - "BS2016_SP01_MID" DVD required for a Netweaver system with standalone ERP components during NW 750 upgrade

Symptom

  • You have a Netweaver system with ERP standalone components like E-Recruiting ,SEM-BW,FSCM, FINBASIS, LSOFE installed and when you generate the stack.xml fle ERP dvd is included in the xml instead of NW dvd.
  • Similar error occurs in PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP phase of upgrade using SUM tool,
    ====================================
    Enter mount points for the DVDs of the kit "BS2016_SP01_MID" required for the procedure
    Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product NW
    ====================================
    Also you can notice a similar tag in stack.xml file, 
    <dvd type="upgrade" id="ce4de4d0-7e46-11e5-cfca-005056a214d6" caption="BS7I2016_SP01_UPGRADE">
    whereas it should be like, 
    <dvd type="upgrade" id="0915d2b0-c661-11e4-94d2-005056a214d6" caption="SAP NETWEAVER 7.5 DVD">
  • During the Maintenance Planning you may wish to ugrade to a later Netweaver release, but only have the option to update the current Neteweaver patch level
