2436263 - Limited planning message after Planning Function/ Sequence is executed in AO

AO displays limited message details after a Planning Function / Planning Sequence is executed in comparison to a more detailed log from a data manager package (EPM BPC) or RSPLAN transaction.
Details like records read, records generated, records changed and records deleted might be missing.

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

Execute a Planning Function or Planning Sequence in AO and notice missing details on the message received.

1. Implement note 2234881 - BICS 7.31+ : BICS ignores the user parameter RS_DEBUGLEVEL in transaction SNOTE if applicable to system support package level.
2. Make sure RSADMIN parameter "RS_USE_DEBUG_LEVEL_USER_PARAM" set to the value "X" as explained in note above;
3. Set the RS_DEBUGLEVEL to "5" for the affected user in transaction SU01.
