2436280 - Msg 3705 when execute sysdams - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • sysdams cannot be dropped
  • sysdams is a system table
  • It is returning message:

Msg 3708, Level 16, State 1:
Line 1:
Cannot drop the table 'sysdams' because it is a system table.

  • Trace Flag 3717 is enabled, then an error 3705 occurs:

Msg 3705, Level 16, State 1:
Line 1:
Cannot use DROP TABLE with 'sysdams' because 'sysdams' is a system. Use DROP UNKNOWN TYPE.
