Reproducing the Issue

  1. When setting up a Competency section in a performance form via Manage Templates, there is a checkbox labeled "Custom"
  2. Select this option and notice there are "No competencies available"

What does the custom option mean in the competency section?

  • Custom competencies are competencies hardcoded into a template
  • Unlike Job specific competencies, custom competencies will appear on the form for every user
  • Unlike Core competencies, custom competencies can be specific to the template
  • With Core, every template that selects Core competencies will pull the same competencies

Selecting competencies to be included in this section

  1. Go to Manage Templates and select a template
  2. Edit Fields and Sections > Competency field
