2436361 - Length of service in Succession Talent Card

Length of Service is not showing for some users in Talent Card on Succession Org Chart.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

1. Go to Succession Org Chart v12;
2. Search for a user;
3. Click the user name to see the Talent Card;
4. Click the expand Overview button:

Notice that the user in the example (Alex Anderson) does not have the Length of Service appearing on his Talent Card because of the target population of the permissions for the logged in user.

Hire Date field is not permissioned for the logged in user.

The "Length of Service" will only appear if you also have the Hire Date field permission enabled, which you can also control with a target population:

1. Go to Admin Center; 
2. Manage Permission Roles;
3. Permissions... > Employee Data;
4. Hire Date (View and Edit checkboxes);
5. Save Changes.

 NOTE: You will need to check if there are values configured on your User Data File in the "Hire Date" column.

You can export the UDF via Admin Center > Employee Export.

The Length of Service will be calculated based on Current date - Hire Date.

Note: If values are not maintained in the User Data File for the Talent Search filters, then the Talent Search will not return any results for these filters.
