Symptom

The below mapping errors occure, when creating a Dictionary View on a Composite Provider in Eclipse:

  • Mapping DB type VARCHAR to Dictionary type is not possible
    Column ______________: Mapping DB type VARCHAR onto Dictionary type ???? is not possible
  • Mapping DB type DATE to Dictionary type is not possible
    Column ______________: Mapping DB type DATE onto Dictionary type ???? is not possible
