Symptom

What is the purpose of hidden questions in question library?

Environment

SAP Successfactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

Go to ADMIN CENTER > QUESTION LIBRARY. You will see set of question libraries available, select one

Figure 1 : There are questions available that have the status of hidden.

Figure 2 : Go to RECRUITING > select a JOB REQUISITION> Under this requisition go to QUESTIONS Try to add questions and you will see that these are still appearing in selections

Resolution

The reason for this is that hidden status doesn't do anything in question library. The framework of the questions library is (more or less) a direct copy from the Competency Library technology, which has had more features than we need for RCM; Such as the ability to enable/disable .This is an expected behavior.
