Symptom

  • Range parameter prompt.
  • When scheduling a report, it displays a range parameter prompt, instead of a multiple values prompt.
  • Changing the option: variableComplexSelectionMapping, from range, to multivalue, change the prompt behavior, but not when scheduling the report.
  • Report created in Crystal Reports for Enterprise off a BEx Query with a Selection option variable, display a multiple values prompt when viewed on demand, but prompt for a range when scheduled in SAP BI LaunchPad.
