Symptom
The Job Requisition Created email trigger will notify recipients when a job requisition has been created in the "pre-approved" status.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Resolution
If this trigger is enabled, all recipients in the email trigger will receive an email once the Job requisition is created (even not yet approved). Meaning when user clicks on create new job requisition and fill all the details, click on next step - Job requisition creation email will be triggered.
To enable the trigger, you must follow the next steps:
- Admin Center > Recruiting Email Triggers
- Find the trigger "Job Requisition Created"
- Enable the trigger
- Configure the Email Template that will be used
- Specify the recipients
- Save the changes
NOTES:
- If the recipient/CC/BCC fields in the email trigger settings have user names of the Hiring manager/Recruiter but these are not populated while creating job requisition, the email will not be triggered since these roles are not considered during form creation.
- The email is triggered when you click 'Next' from the Job Requisition Short Form Page:
