How to Add or Remove columns from Job Applications page of the Career site portal.

Reproducing the Issue

As an internal Candidate, follow the steps outlined below;

  1. Home > Careers > Job Applications tab
  2. Remove the 'Alternate Location(s)' for example

As an External Candidate:

  1. Career Site > Log in > Job Applications tab
  2. Remove the 'Alternate Location(s)' for example

Cause

The columns displayed on the Jobs Applied page can be controlled via Internal and External Career Search Settings.

Some columns are displayed by default, and others respect the setting of standard and customer filters.

  1. Req ID
  2. Date Applied
  3. Status
  4. Status Date
  5. Next Step
  6. Assessment Status (*)

(*) If additional features are enabled, like Assessment Integration, some additional columns display.

Resolution

Setting the Grid Order column to zero from 'Internal and External Applicant Search Settings' in 'Admin Center'.

  1. Admin Center -> Internal and External Career Search Settings:
  2. Change the Grid Order to '0'

  3. The 'Alternate Location(s)' fcolumn will not be shown on the Jobs Applied Page.

Note:

  • Setting the Grid Order to zero will also omit the field from the search results table.
  • The system default columns cannot be removed or re-ordered. The labels for the Status and Next Step columns are configured via Edit Applicant Status Configuration.
