Check Tool is available to check for existing Data and Configuration issues. For this article, we would focus on identifying Orphaned Person IDs for your instance.

• Orphaned Person IDs could cause a host of problems e.g. Import issues, proxy issues, application errors when navigating to an Employee's page and etc.
• Person ID external is considered to be an orphan if it neither has dependent nor does it has an employment

Check Tool was introduced to check for Data issues and Configuration issues. We have EC Core included on the Check Tool category and we would be able to search for Orphaned Person IDs from the system directly from your live or test instance.

Enable Check Tool:

Running the check "Check if there are any Orphan Person ID Externals in the system. (OrphanPerson)":

1. Select EC Core from the Application Category Dropdown:Employee Central Core
2. Area : person
   
3. click on : Go
4. Expand the Person category:
5. Click on the Left most column of the Check if there are any Orphan Person ID Externals in the system category and then click "Run Check".
   
   
   
   
   

Note :  To Verify Records: Here- Data Inspector 

• Use Data Inspector to confirm orphan status
• Check Table_PER_PERSON for Person ID details 
• Review audit logs for deletion history
• Example Orphan Person ID = 4402
