2438947 - Position Object Associations are not Validated on Position Imports - Employee Central

Position Object Associations are not validated when importing positions.
Associations for example Department to Business Unit are not validated on import, allowing for incorrectly associated objects to be imported.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Import and Export Data
2. Select Position
3. Select your import file that contains invalid associations
4. Click on Validate
5. Go to Monitor Job and see the result

Object Configuration for Position is not setup

• Foundation object field criteria is not validated via import;
• Only the Field Criteria for Generic Objects and Picklists are validated;
• Configure Object Configuration in Manage Data:
  1. Go to Manage Data > Create New > Object Configuration
  2. Select Position as the Object Type
  3. Set Validate Field Criteria to Yes
  4. Save
