- ASE crashes after a "signal 11" error in the module des_checkpoint
- With the affected spid holding spinlock dbt_defpipebufgpspin
- Typical error log entries include:
Current process (0x53002a) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x0000000001dcde7e (des_checkpoint+0x52e), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x0xfffffffffffffdd2)
Followed by a stack trace that includes some or all of these functions:
des_checkpoint
checkpoint
dpdb_main
And reference to spinlock dbt_defpipebufgpspin which is the reason for the crash:
