2439634 - Report Designer query preview not showing full results - Online Report Designer

When editing the query for a List Report component, or the source query for a pivot table, the results previewed within the editor are not the full results of the query.

This behaviour is expected.  The preview within the editor does not display the full results of the query, only the first 100 records will be displayed to let you check that the columns are in the right places and returning the right data types.  This is to speed up the editing process, in case users need to make a lot of quick changes and don't want to reload the whole thing every time.  (It will only show the full results if there are few enough of them.)

Exporting the results to Excel from within that editor is one way to get the full results.  The way to see the full results on the site itself is to open the Preview of the report page.  For a large query it may take some time to load, if it can load online successfully at all, which is why another type of export (e.g. Report Distributor) is recommended for such.
