2439645 - Create Job Requisition in Position Organization Chart Permission - Employee Central & Recruiting Management

A user is not able to create a Job Requisition via the Position Org Chart.

The following steps will grant permission for an user to create a job requisition from Position Org Chart that the user can view. It's necessary to engage an implementation partner or SAP Professional Services to have this feature operational.

Please review the steps below to configure the permission:

1. Navigate to a Manage Permissions Role
2. Select the Permissions the affected user has
3. Go to the "Manage Position" tab
4. Enable the permission "Create Job Requisition in Position Organization Chart"
5. Save

Note:

• This permission is granted for any Position the user can view. If the permission is granted in one of the users Permission roles and the user has a second role, granting them view permission to a different set of Positions, they will still be able to create a Job Requisition for all position they View in either role.
  
  
• You can not restrict which position you can create a requisition for. If you have the permissions, you can create a requisition for any position, even fully staffed ones. For example, you cannot just limit creating a job requisition from a certain position for a direct manager.
  
  
• The Job Requisition Icon is also not controllable by permissions, it will appear on any position with a Job Req for which you have permissions to view that position.
  
  
• The system does not support creating job requisition with past dates. When selecting a date, past dates will be greyed out.
