You are using a BEx query as data source. The query contains a dimension with an active presentation hierarchy. At runtime, when opening the filter dialog on that dimension, you see the defined hierarchy structure but you are missing the generic node "Not assigned" (REST_H). This automatically generated hierarchy node contains all relevant dimension members, which have not been assigned to the hierarchy structure (BW backend transaction RSH1).
