2440743 - Analysis for Office compatibility issues with Excel 16/Office 365

The symptoms below might appear at random:

• The “Analysis” ribbon on the Excel tool-bar disappearing at random, requiring users to go to the COM add-ins menu and manually re-check the Analysis add-in. The Analysis icon reappears after doing so.
• Same symptoms as above, but the Ribbon does not reappear upon re-checking the add-in. The user is forced to open Analysis for Excel through the desktop Start menu. The Analysis icon reappears after doing so.
• After performing both troubleshooting methods above, the Analysis add-in is still not working.

• SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 2.0, edition for Microsoft Office
• SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 2.1, edition for Microsoft Office
• SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 2.2, edition for Microsoft Office
• SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 2.3, edition for Microsoft Office

Launch Analysis for Microsoft Excel and the symptoms described above appears at random.

This issue is resolved in AO 2.4 SP 2 and higher versions.
