Symptom
LMS SCORM Course is not loading and end users get a blank page/screen similar to the below:
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
End users are trying to access the course from their home page (that has been assigned to them) in the Learning Management System and the issue occurs.
Cause
The issue occurs due to the file launch method settings that are in place or due to the actual course configuration.
Resolution
Every SCORM content package has a file called imsmanifest.xml which decides what files are launched within the content package and in what order. When the content is imported into the LMS, it extracts the launch path of the initial content launch file and populates it to the File Path of the content object.
- Identify the Content Object ID of the course in question and check the launch method in the LMS ->
Content-> Content Objects.
This should be correct and should point to the exact URL in the course. - If the issue persists, check the actual .ZIP file that has the course/or the course configuration itself (for example the imsmanifest.xml file). Get this checked with the course creator as the actual launch link and configurations need to be provided by the respective team.
