2441517 - Material From Stock Checkbox is not Enabled.

Symptom

From Stock checkbox is not enabled in material of a project task hence unable to flag From Stock material.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Project management work center.
  2. Select Projects view.
  3. Select Project XYZ and Edit-> Project Plan (XYZ stands for Project ID).
  4. Navigate to relevant project task.
  5. Go to Material tab here you can see From Stock checkbox is grayed out for some material.

Cause

Once the material actual quantity is updated the From Stock checkbox is not enabled and the system will not allowed to change the material process type.

It means that you have already consumed the material as Non stock in the project hence the From Stock option is grayed out.

Resolution

System works as expected.
