2441610 - Uploading SDK to BIP generates huge Disk usage in FRS (File Repository System)

Symptom

  • While uploading a Design Studio SDK to BI Platform, a huge disk usage is being observed in FRS (File Repository Server, usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\FileStore\Input\ ).
  • Also, a huge quantity of temporary files are being generated, which together can sum up to many GBs.
