2441970 - MDF Position sync doesn't create new positions for new users

• MDF Position Sync doesn't create positions for new users added in the system
• MDF Position sync completes successfully but positions are not created for newly added users in the system

SuccessFactors BIZX: Succession 

                          : MDF Position Sync

1: User, say Brook Brown has been added in the system via Employee Import

2: Go to Company Org Chart-> Search for Brooke Brown and can see his Org Chart

3: Go to Succession Org Chart-> Search for Brooke Brown -> No Position found error message shows on SOC, as below:

   

There could be many reasons for this issue, one of the common reasons is incorrect configuration of Position object under 'Configure Object Definition'. It may be possible that some fields are configured as mandatory fields by setting Required to Yes even though the visibility of those fields is set to 'Not Visible'. 

1: Go to Admin Center

2: Under Company Settings click on 'Configure Object Definition'

3: Select Object Definition in 1st drop down and Position in 2nd drop down, as below:

     

4: Check the Details (Visibility & Required) of all fields present under Position object definition as per the configuration given in KBA-2340915.
