Workflow does not trigger while importing New Hire Job Information

Resolution
When importing a New Hire Job Information record
1. In Full Purge Mode: No Workflow will trigger
2. In Incremental mode a Workflow will trigger but cannot not be processed
Remark: Currently the system has a limitation on such consolidation and hence such use cases are not supported.
Existing User Job Information Update:
You can now automatically trigger Workflow using Business Rules when uploading the Job Information in to Employee Central.
This means, approvers defined in the Workflow can now automatically get notifications in their emails and To Do lists to approve or reject the changes triggered by the import.
This is only supported for Incremental inserts for the Job Info template. This does not cover the Hire scenario, where other data for the Hire is loaded separately.
Exmplanation - Difference Hire scenario via UI Vs Import:
- UI: During the Add New Employee hire wizard, you create all of the EC data for the employee, and all of the Employment related data is given in the Workflow approval request.
- Import: Each data set is loaded separately. Due to this separation, and the fact that data such as Compensation Information / Pay Component related data can only be loaded after Job Info data is created - the system will not trigger a workflow for Hire scenario via Import of Job Info data.
Therefore you cannot trigger Hire workflows via Import. You can however trigger workflows for any type of data change Job Info import (all except Hire record types).
