2442943 - Logical Host List empty while connecting Diagnostic Agent on the Fly - SAP Solution Manager 7.1 & 7.2

• You are unable to connect Agent on the Fly to SAP Solution Manager

• The Target host list of Agent on the Fly is empty

1. In SAP Solution Manager
2. Go to SOLMAN_SETUP transaction
3. Go to "Managed System Configuration" Tab
4. Click on step "Enter System Parameters"
5. When you display the resulting host list of the diagnostic Agent on the Fly
6. The target host list is empty:

• Run the following command on the Managed Host:
• On Windows:
• "C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe\saphostctrl.exe" -function GetComputerSystem
• On Unix:
• /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saphostctrl -function GetComputerSystem

• The result is similar to the below output :
