2443512 - SUM FREECHK phase: BRSPACE tscreate command requests joined table/index tablespace

Symptom



    

  • While running a system update using SUM in phase PREP_SPACECHECKS/SPACECHK_OPT/FREECHK the tool requests to create a new tablespace
    • 



<SUM_DIR>/abap/log/CHECK.TXT


*Info/Warning:* Insufficient free space in the database as follows.
Please refer to file /backup/D36_SUM/SUM/abap/log/DBFPLUSD.RES for more details
and additional information about the results of the free space check.


Create TABLESPACE PSAPSIDX with 30705 MB


INFO: To adjust the size of your tablespaces, you may use the commands


in file '/usr/sap/SID/SUM/abap/log/ORATBSXT.LST' using the 'brspace' utility.


    

  • While executing the command listed in the ORATBSXT.LST file brspace requests to enter   joined table/index tablespace value
    

    BR0688W Mandatory value at position 7 not entered
