2443773 - Error: Handling unit type & is not compatible with current block definition

On the bulk structure definition in the following SPRO customizing, it was maintained an entry similar to this:

• Extended Warehouse Management -> Goods Receipt Process -> Strategies -> Putaway Rules -> Storage Behavior: Bulk Storage -> Define Bulk Structures
  • Entry: Blk: B1, Max No. of HU: 4

Therefore, the storage bin will only accept a total of 4 HU's.

Afterwards, 1 or more HU's were moved to this bin. Then, on the same customizing path, the max number of HU's was changed to 6. If trying to move any HU for this bin, error will be displayed:

• "Handling unit type & is not compatible with current block definition"
• Message no. /SCWM/L3425

• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SCM-EWM)
• SAP Extended Warehouse Management Warehouse Order Processing (SCM-EWM-WOP)
