2444031 - How to Expand All G/L Accounts in Financial Statements Report

You run the Financial Statement report and want to expand all G/L accounts as default every time the report is opened.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Business Analytics work center.
2. View Design Reports.
3. Open Design and Assign Reports.
4. Click Financial Statements.
5. Enter the required parameters.
6. Press Go.

You cannot view all the G/L accounts in the reports as a default view.

To expand all Structure levels, you need to define hierarchy setting directly for the Balance Sheet And Income Statement Item:

1. Navigate to Business Analytics work center.
2. View Design Reports - Design and Assign Reports.
3. Open the Financial Statements report.
4. Enter the required parameters.
5. Go to View option.
6. Access the Characteristics Settings of the Balance Sheet And Income Statement Item (click the three little dots beside the characteristic and select Characteristic Settings).
7. Choose an option from the Initial Expansion Level column under Characteristics in Rows.
8. Under Hierarchy, in the Initial Expansion Level field select the expansion level of your choice (up to 10) or select Fully Expanded (up to 98 levels).
9. Press OK.
10. You can save the view by selecting View button and Save.
11. Set the saved view as default by selecting the Set as Default button.
12. Close and re-open the report and you should be able to see the report opening with the desired layout.
