2444110 - Application Error While Updating Global Information for Specific Countries

Symptom

  • Cannot select a country for an employee without an application error.
  • When adding global information for a particular employee, and selecting a country for which the Country Specific Format (CSF) personal information is NOT enabled, an application error message occurs.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select an employee
  2. Go to Personal Information
  3. Click on pencil icon for edit mode
  4. Choose "Add Global Information"
  5. Select any of the following countries, for eg: Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Portugal, Taiwan, Thailand
  6. Note the application error

Cause

  1. Navigate to Admin Center
  2. Company Settings
  3. Manage Business Configuration
  4. Select "Global Info"
  5. Choose the required country in global info
  6. Note all the fields have "Enabled" set to "no" 

Resolution

Enable the required fields for the error not to show up or disable that particular countrie's Global Info.
