2444529 - Remove items from subordinate's learning assignments

Symptom

  • When the manager searches for items to remove from Learning Assignments of direct subordinate, only a few items are shown.
  • When selecting items to remove from one user, the list of items displayed corresponds to all items in that manager's library, not only the selected employee.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. My Team > Manager Links > Assign/Remove trainings > Remove assigned learning >
  2. Select an employee, then select Add items >
  3. The list of items displayed corresponds to all items in that manager's library.

Cause

This is the expected behavior. The items displayed in the Assign/Remove Learning search are items in the manager's assigned library.

Resolution

  • Items assigned by the manager can be removed from the Learning Assignments view directly.
  • If the subordinate has trainings that were assigned to him/her via assignment profile or administrators, even if they are in the manager's library, they can only be removed from the Learning Administration side (from the user record directly or in bulk via User Needs Management tool).
