2444867 - Error Message: “1 Opportunities With Invalid Data Found, Edit Invalid Value(s)”, While Modifying the Opportunities Using Mass Data Maintenance

Symptom

Using Mass Data Maintenance, require to upload changes for some of the fields. On initiating the upload, system throws the below error during Validation:

1 Opportunities with invalid data found, edit invalid value(s).

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Mass Data Maintenance work center
  2. Select Export Opportunities link
  3. Export the General tab to CSV file and modify the required fields
  4. Select Import Opportunities link and upload the file to the General tab
  5. Execute Data Import Immediately
  6. Error occurs

Cause

On performing the Export using Mass Data Maintenance, the Currency is Pound Sterling/ Euro/ Dollars and so on.

Resolution

In the upload file, require to maintain Currency as GBP/ EUR/ USD respectively and Execute the data import using Mass Data Maintenance.
