Symptom
- Altering a table with a customized Default name will return an incorrect value shown in the command sp_help <table name>
- When a default is bound to a user-defined datatype
- datatype is used in an alter table add column statement
- ASE behaves differently if the alter is adding any columns with a literal default value.
