2445249 - Get error BODI-320004 and BODI-300054 when using Data Services Repository Manager to create Sybase ASE repository

Symptom

  • Use DS Repository Manager to create DS repository for Sybase ASE database.
  • Error "BODI-320004: Error or warning in executing the SQL
    statement <  Create index AL_RELATION_INDX1 on AL_RELATION
    (SRCTAB_DATASTORE, SRCTAB_OWNER, SRCTAB_NAME, SRCTAB_COLUMN,
     TRGTAB_DATASTORE, TRGTAB_OWNER, TRGTAB_NAME, TRGTAB_COLUMN) >"
  • Error "Sybase Server message number < > State < > Severity < > From Server < >: Message Text is: 1250 is the maximum allowable size of an index.  Composite index specified is 2048 bytes."
  • Error "An error occurred during creation of the local repository. (BODI-300054)."
