2445252 - Information Required for PDI Reports in Analytics

Symptom

In order to process and analyse issues related to Reports or Data sources created by Partners (PDI solutions) in a efficient way and to enable the Analytics team to narrow down the issue better, you should provide the following information:

  1. The precise steps to reproduce the issue.
  2. What is the Report name, the report ID and Data source ID ? (To learn how to show or use the report ID you may check the CD 1652460).
  3. Error messages found in SDK.
  4. Original Solution name and Patch solution name.
  5. Is the problem in Assemble and Download or during Activation ?
  6. If the problem is during Activation, in which system it is failing ? ( Source system or Target system).
    • If the issue is in Target system, provide Source system details.
  7. Is there any recent change done in the system or report ?
  8. Since when does the issue exist ? or Was it working before ?
  9. What is the expected result ?
   
Business Impact and case Priority

Please note that not being able to run a customized PDI report (where the report ID starts with Y), does generally not justify the Very High priority, since a fault in a customized object usually does not mean a production or go live showstopper.
