2445316 - Position Details Missing in Job History After Termination

After Termination, the Job Information > Termination record does not show position details.
Once an employee has been terminated, position details are no longer available within their job history, while other terminated employees still have this information.

This is caused by Position Status configuration.
To verify it go to Admin Center > Manage Positions/Manage Data > Select Position.

For users whom the position details are not available - Position status has become inactive before the associated employee's termination date (employee was still active on that day).
For users whom the position details are still avaiable - Go to that position and see the position status is still active and "To Be Hired" status has changed to "Yes" upon its incumbents termination. This
means this position is now available for new employee assignment. This position will contain incumbent history and show the start and end-dates of the assignement of employee's to it.
Another reason for termination details not available is - While processing the termination, manually setting the 'Deactivate Position' field to 'Yes'. Deactivating the position will make the position inactive on the day of termination (employee becomes inactive the nect day after termination), thus the details unavailable on the termination portlet. By default there is an option to deactivate the employee's position. If there is no need for this option to be available, go to Position Management Settings UI Customizing, and set Show 'Deactivate Position' option in Employee Termination Screen to No.
