2445724 - Special Characters Not Converted Properly in PDF for Romanian Language

When printing in Romanian as PDF, special characters disappear.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Attempt to print in Romanian using T-comma or S-comma characters:

As we are using PD4ML library for generation of PDF, the SuccessFactors system is not able to recognize characters with Comma (S-Comma or T-Comma).

Please use characters with Cedilla (S-Cedilla or T-Cedilla) as it can be recognized with Cedilla characters and renders properly in PDF file.

Use the following alt codes for the proper characters:

• Right Alt + 0354 for T-Cedilla
• Right Alt + 0350 for S-Cedilla

Use the associated number codes in Microsoft Word. Depending on permissions you will need to copy and paste content in word pad prior to inputting into Performance Forms.
