Symptom

  • The following dumps happens when reading data in BW

    Category ABAP programming error
    Runtime Errors STRING_SIZE_TOO_LARGE
    ABAP Program SAPLTREX_EXT_PE
    Application Component BC-TRX-API

    "STRING_SIZE_TOO_LARGE"
    "SAPLTREX_EXT_PE" bzw. LTREX_EXT_PEU05
    "TREX_EXT_PE_SET_VALUES"

    The termination occurred in ABAP program or include "SAPLTREX_EXT_PE", in
    "TREX_EXT_PE_SET_VALUES". The
    main program was "RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS".
    In the source code, the termination point is in line 62 of program or
    include "LTREX_EXT_PEU05".
    Program "SAPLTREX_EXT_PE" was started as a background job.
