Learning APIs can update thousands of entities in the system, so we highly recommend that you engage with our Professional Services organization or a certified Learning implementation partner before you attempt to use Learning APIs, especially in a production environment.

You can attempt to implement APIs on your own, but in doing so, you assume full responsibility for your actions. While we provide safeguards when able, it’s possible to load thousands of erroneous data in the system and end up incurring significant costs to correct them. Operational interruptions can be caused by having incorrect completion data; causing severe impact in regulated trades and industries. As with any other opt-in feature, we highly recommend that you do thorough testing before utilizing API servers.

Please note that implementing an API including token calls, changes to API parameters, or troubleshooting API responses is outside SF Learning support scope except where documented and logged as working prior within your Learning system without change and is always recommended to use lite client tools to test directly against the LMS outside your own or other SAP API servers.
