2447208 - Error Message While Trying to Assign Source of Supply in Sales Order

While trying to change the supplier in a sales order the following error occurs: Change of party with role Supplier not permitted due to fulfillment status.

1. Go to Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to Sales Orders view.
3. Open the sales order XYZ (XYZ represents the sales order ID).
4. Click on View All.
5. Navigate to Items tab.
6. Click on Assign Source of Supply.

System shows error message: Change of party with role Supplier not permitted due to fulfillment status.

The sales order XYZ is a migrated sales order and system does not allow the change of supplier for a migrated sales order.

This is standard system behavior.

Note: We will disable Assign Source of Supply button in one of the future releases.
