Unable to delete favorites / shortcuts from My Launchpad in Bydesign HTML.
Reproducing the Issue
- Logon to Bydesign in HTML client.
- Navigate to My LaunchPad view.
- Unable to remove or delete favorites from My Launchpad.
Cause
This is an expected system behavior, favorites have to be removed by initialising the Personalization mode.
Resolution
These favorites / shortcuts can only be Hidden and therefore is present in the background of My launchpad.
In order to Hide this shortcut / Favorite , please follow the below steps:
- Hover on the Personal settings & choose 'Start the personalisation mode'
- Navigate to Background Design UI which is available on the right side panel and select the (>) button on the screen.
- Scroll down to see the list of Favorites present, which you can hide /show by ticking the Visiblity button.
- Saves the changes--> Logout & Login once again to see these changes being reflected on the screen.
