2447912 - PI CBMA alerts - Unable to write job information to database

Symptom

  • You have configured Component Based Message Alerting (CBMA) in your Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) system
  • The alerts are not being sent to the mail clients as would be expected
  • In the NWA -> Operations-> Jobs -> Java Scheduler - AlertConsumerJob has several different statuses; UNKNOWN; ERROR; STARTING and RUNNING (as well as COMPLETED);
  • In the defaultTrace, you can see entries like:
    Unable to write job information to database. Job 'AlertConsumerJob' not queued.
    com.sap.sql.exception.OpenSQLException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-964, SQLSTATE=57011, SQLERRMC=null, DRIVER=4.19.26
    OpenSQLExceptionCategories: [NON_TRANSIENT, DB_ADMINISTRATOR_REQUIRED]
