2447956 - Expected behavior when Notifications are disabled on environment

This Knowledge Base Article is to describe the expected behavior when the Notificaitons are disabled on the LMS environment (Global Variables).

SuccessFactors Learning Management System Notifications

1. Navigate to System Admin > Configuration > Global Variables > Mail tab
2. Uncheck the 'Enable Email' checkbox
3. Click on 'Apply Changes' button

After performing this change, the Notifications are disabled on the environment.

When the notifications are disabled on the Global Variables > Mail tab, no e-mails would be triggered by the environment. Even the automatic processes that are still scheduled to run (and could generate e-mails), would not generate any e-mails, as long as the Notifications are disabled on the environment. This means that there would be no e-mails being queued for posterior delivery as none are being generated.
