Symptom
A remote monitoring is established to a SQL server database which is in an AlwaysOn Availability group.
After an Availability Group failover from the primary to the secondary replica, the monitoring system (such as Solution Manager or an SAP system monitoring the remote database via DBACOCKPIT) is unable to access the remote database.
The following error occurs in SM21 of the monitoring system:
Logon Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 38.
Logon Login failed for user '<SID>_SAPMonitor'.
