2448339 - Is it Possible to Change the Country of the Employee Who was Incorrectly Rehired?

Employee XYZ was rehired with the incorrect Country PQR instead of Country ABC. Your requirement is to change the Country PQR to Country ABC.

*XYZ represents the Employee, PQR and ABC represents the Country

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center
2. Go to Regular Tasks view
3. Choose the tab relevant to the Country in which you would Rehire the Employee XYZ
4. Select Rehire Employee
5. Fill the required details
6. Select Save

You will not be able to Delete the Employee XYZ or Delete the old reference of Employee XYZ from the system. This is the expected system behavior.

You can Terminate the Employee XYZ and Rehire for Country ABC, but the Employee ID will be different. Further, the old reference to Rehire in Country PQR cannot be deleted even via backend.

To Terminate the Employee XYZ, you may follow the below steps:

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center
2. Go to Employees view
3. Show Active Employees and Search the Employee XYZ
4. Select Actions->Terminate Relationship with Employee
5. Update Last Working Day as DD.MM.YYYY
6. Termination Category: XXXXX (where XXXXX represents the Termination Category)
7. Termination Reason: YYYYY (where YYYYY represents the Termination Reason)
8. Select Save
