2449596 - Variable prompts do not appear when opening a story in SAP Analytics Cloud

• Model variable prompts do not appear show when opening a story.
• Live connection variable prompts do not appear show when opening a story.
• Prompts will show when creating a story and the following Set Variables for <Model> dialogue appears:
• The underlying model contains variables. Please enter the details for these variables.

• SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Create a story.
2. Choose a model that has prompts/variables.
3. The Set Variables window appears when you create a story.
4. Select the variables and save the story.
5. Open the story again. 
6. No prompts window shows.

The behavior is by design.

Change the prompts by clicking the button {} (Edit Prompts) or select the option in the Set Variables for <Model> dialogue:
